I have spent most of my adult life having help for emotional trauma, through deliverance, prayer ministry, counselling, sozo and now ( in my 60s), it is very often just me and Jesus in that place of intimacy where He gently highlights an issue and we deal with it together...Thank you Emma, Sam and wonderful to have lovely Susanne on too 🥰

Thank you Ali - that statement: "love of the people of God & love of God & His spirit is enough to move you forward as a worship leader". I found that really comforting, as I kind of struggle to lead in my church where there isn't much freedom. People don't even want to raise their hands and I do hide from the resistance in the atmosphere by shutting my eyes. It can feel like I'm letting God down. It's so easy to get imposter syndrome and to feel like I shouldn't be doing this, but I do want to serve the Lord and believe this is a part of my purpose in his kingdom. So thank you for those encouraging words. I'm sat here about to create the list for Sunday and trusting God that he will speak to me 🙏🏽❤️

Wonderful conversation that needs to be aired! Suppression of emotions can indeed cause all kinds of sicknesses and chronic pain conditions. God is un-wounding me and setting me free from emotional shackles. It was awful in previous generations where emotions (those deemed negative and positive) saw such expression as something to be embarrassed about. The WOF movement seemed to hold the lid down on this too to some extent. Bless you!

We have been conditioned to take a pill to mask the pain.

Thank you all for this subject! I have felt stirred by the Lord over this subject. I didn't grow up in the faith movement but I came into it in my late 20s. I was shocked to see the suppression of feelings and the brainwashing people would do to themselves through denial. I fell into that myself for a season and it was a very difficult journey out. But I am so happy to have the experience with Jesus of recieving his healing in every part of me. We need each other to be vulnerable with and help process and receive encouragement. How can we experience the fruit of the holy spirit if we don't ever admit we need them. God really did provide everything for us.

Thank u 4 honesty so we can press into Truth and reconciliation with Our Father

I was advised to pursue healing every day but more formally annually😊

Our aim is to be able to operate in the emotions of God not outside of them😊

Too cold to come to Glasgow

I had a season of hard things. Sick and couldn’t get healed and I was told to come out of sin. So I learned to do healing ministry that way. Or I’m not tithing. I learned to not expect or to work harder for my healing. Yes If someone asks me if I have diabetes and I say yes then that’s owning the sickness and it cancels the healing. Thank you for this because I’m truly confused and my faith waited a little. Not as confident as I was in going after healing. God showed me is a revelation

A correction going through service of counseling sessions, and then getting trained and inner healing

Oh my God, I got to tell you I was feeling a little uneasy about going through a counseling session a series of counseling sessions and then getting trained on in healing. I knew I had to do it, but I couldn’t put explanation or language as to why I am doing that, and this program answered my prayer

One thing to note about women and emotions and being more "emotional"... It helps to recognize that yes, research shows us that women are more susceptible to negative emotions (Big Five personality research). And this is a very good thing when you think of our role in birthing and nuturing babies! There are also some women that as actually less sensitive to negative emotions than men... However being sensitive to these emotions is a great help when it comes to discernment and not walking into walls...

So what's the answer when you pray believe quote the word decree over yourself for a healing manifestation and only time is going by. I hear of so many Christians that need a healing manifestation I just wish somebody had the answer as to why we are not seeing more healings and miracles what are we supposed to do

Yes I'm dealing with that right now😊 I've had people at church tell me don't speak it out don't declare it😢 but how do you get healing?

It is urgent in warfare too. If we are vulnerable emotionally we are giving the enemy an opportunity to gain a stronghold. It takes perseverance and a trust that Jesus wants to heal us and prosper us.
